Peter Brandt Ph.D.

Peter Brandt joined Beactica in 2021 as Head of Chemistry and brings more than 20 years of experience in drug discovery & development. Before joining Beactica, Peter has held positions as Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, Associate Professor at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at Uppsala University, Head of Chemistry and Informatics at KDev Exploratory of Karolinska Development, Project Director at Biovitrum. Peter is an inventor on some twenty published drug patent applications and author to more than fifty scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. Peter was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at The Royal Danish School of Pharmacy in Copenhagen and holds a doctorate in organic chemistry from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
